Terms and Conditions

You must be 18 years or older to register.

MakerCircle introduces people who want to share skills, knowledge and interests. Participation is voluntary.

There is no required meeting frequency, but you are expected to communicate clearly with your match and agree together on what feels reasonable.

Any meeting or activity arranged between participants happens at your own risk.

Your own accident, liability and health insurance must cover any such activity.

MakerCircle is not liable for accidents, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation.

You can leave the Platform at any time by contacting MakerCircle.

If you are currently matched, you must also inform your match directly.

You must provide accurate information and complete all mandatory fields when creating a profile.

Using false or unauthorised information is prohibited and may be reported to the police.

You may not share personal information about your match without their consent.

An exception applies when someone's life or welfare is at risk.

You may discuss your situation with MakerCircle staff, who are also bound by confidentiality.

You may not accept gifts, money, inheritances or similar from your match.

This protects both participants and prevents misunderstandings or dependency.

By providing your email address and phone number, you allow MakerCircle to contact you with information related to your match, the service and general updates.

By registering, you consent to MakerCircle sharing relevant parts of your profile with potential or confirmed matches.

This may include your name, contact details, interests and other information needed to facilitate the match.

To maintain an active community, MakerCircle may deactivate or remove inactive profiles, either manually or through automated processes.

Photos or videos from activities may be taken in two ways:

• voluntarily submitted by you
• captured by MakerCircle staff or volunteers who accompany visits or events

By submitting or allowing such photos or videos to be taken, you grant MakerCircle permission to use them online and offline for communication, documentation and promotional purposes.

You may opt out at any time.

You are never obliged to participate in photos or videos.

You must act respectfully and follow any recommendations or warnings issued by MakerCircle.

The Organisation may suspend or remove users if behaviour creates risk or discomfort for others.

All material on makercircle.io, including text, graphics, logos, images and videos, belongs to MakerCircle or is licensed to the Organisation.

You may not copy, publish or distribute material without written permission.

Violations may lead to claims for damages under Danish law.

MakerCircle may update these Terms at any time.

Updates take effect once published on the Platform. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

MakerCircle is not responsible for technical issues, outages or errors on the Platform.

All content and services are provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy or availability.
